Learn to weave on a loom..take the first steps with our brand new introduction to weaving course. This course is suitable for complete beginners and if you have never attempted weaving…but always fancied giving this traditional form of crafting a go…now is your opportunity.
This course provides an introduction to weaving with all materials and a loom included.
What you will learn: Working on an Ashford Rigid Heddle loom, you will learn how to select the right yarn, warping and setting up of the loom.
You will be able to understand the differences in the placement of the weft of the yarn and the finishing stages of a woven fabric. This will be followed by a practical ‘have a go’ session.
Cost: £55 per person including resources and refreshments.
